Roses in the Ocean is excited to be partnering with Brisbane North PHN for the co-design of four local Safe Space Hubs across the region. The Safe Space Hubs will provide a peer-led alternative to hospital emergency departments for those who experience emotional distress and suicidal crisis. For more information, please watch this short webinar.
Each of these Hubs will be co-designed with the voices and perspectives of those who experience emotional distress and suicidal crisis, people who care for them, health professionals and other relevant community representatives. We will run two co-design processes for the four Safe Spaces.
The first three Safe Space Hubs will be included in the first co-design process and will look at the areas surrounding Caboolture Hospital, The Prince Charles Hospital and Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. The second co-design process will cover the suburbs surrounding the Redcliffe Hospital.
