We stand with all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and acknowledge their strength and fortitude while enduring the ongoing impacts of colonisation and trauma.

A Recognition of People with Lived Experience of Suicide
At Roses in the Ocean,
We recognise those of you who have considered ending your life, and those who have attempted to do so
We recognise those of you who support loved ones through suicidal crisis, and those who have done so in the past
We recognise those of you bereaved through suicide
We recognise all the lives we have lost to suicide and those in our wider community who are struggling with life today.
We recognise the priceless contribution and richness people with lived experience of suicide bring to suicide prevention.

We also acknowledge that many others in our communities and workforces are significantly impacted by suicide.
