About the Peer CARE Companion services
Our Peer CARE Companion Warmline and ‘in Community’ services respond to individual and local needs as they arise, while also enhancing and extending existing services. Through mobilising an ‘army’ of trained and supported people with a lived experience of suicide, volunteer Peer CARE Companions provide connection and ‘light touch’ peer support.
About the role
This is an exciting new opportunity to help support the expansion of our Peer CARE Companion Services into Queensland. Reporting to the Head of Peer CARE Companion Services, the Service Delivery Administrator will take ownership of the logistical and administrative requirements for the Peer CARE companion team as set by the Head of Peer CARE Companion Services and in collaboration with the Peer Warmline & Volunteer Coordinator, Peer CARE Companion Regional Coordinators, Safe Spaces Project Coordinator and the broader Roses in the Ocean team.
This is a varied and dynamic role requiring keen attention to detail, exceptional interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to manage numerous short-term projects at any given time.
