The purpose of the Roses in the Ocean Service Model is to provide an overview of the service principles and the resource infrastructure necessary to implement and deliver services, maintain fidelity to the service model and ensure support and sustainability of the paid and volunteer Peer CARE Companion workforce.
The lived experience of suicide is at the core of our service need identification, design, implementation, delivery, evaluation and ongoing continuous improvement.
Peer CARE Companion services provide a safe place for people with a lived experience of suicide to connect with others with a similar lived experience for a chat, in a shared space of compassion, understanding and respect.
