Collective Voices | Suicide Attempt Survivors with Tina

Representing the countless voices and experiences through stories and insights from suicide attempt survivors and their intersecting experiences.

“It’s really hard to describe but I think especially at 16, something happens when you consciously decide to end your life and I don’t know if it’s something that you can get back, so it’s that connection that broke way back then and I haven’t been able to fix it. I don’t even know how to fix it, but definitely something back then changed the course of the future and I’m just floating through it now.”Tina speaks about her experiences conveying how unsafe she was feeling to mental health professionals, her lack of a vision for her future and her desire to use her lived experience to help other people in this personal and powerful interview.
