The opportunity

PEERnet is a new, innovative online resource for suicide prevention peer workers, their allies and colleagues, that promotes the continued transformation of suicide prevention to include peer work as a key discipline for supporting people in crisis.

This role will contribute to the expansion and growth of peer-to-peer suicide prevention in Australia through the daily management of PEERnet including identifying, reviewing and posting content, stimulating and moderating issue-based online discussion, ongoing improvements to PEERnet, liaising with suicide prevention peer workers to ensure PEERnet responds to their needs, and connecting with the suicide prevention sector to promote and increase engagement with PEERnet.

This is a newly established, permanent full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week.
